Job Summary:
The Electrician is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems and equipment within the cinema premises. The role focuses on providing a safe, uninterrupted, and comfortable environment for guests and employees by ensuring all electrical installations comply with safety standards and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:Electrical Maintenance
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of all electrical systems and equipment.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults in lighting, power distribution, and electrical panels.
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply to all cinema operations.
Equipment Maintenance
- Maintain electrical equipment such as HVAC electrical controls, UPS systems, generators, lighting systems, escalators (electrical components), and emergency lighting.
- Monitor the functioning of projection room electrical systems and coordinate with technical teams when required.
- Maintain backup power systems and ensure readiness during power outages.
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to all electrical safety standards and company SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations related to electrical installations.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and rectify potential electrical hazards.
- Maintain proper earthing, circuit protection, and electrical safety devices.
Breakdown Management
- Attend electrical breakdowns promptly and minimize operational downtime.
- Diagnose faults and implement effective repair solutions.
- Coordinate with external vendors for major electrical repairs when necessary.
Documentation
- Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and service records.
- Record daily maintenance activities, repairs, and material consumption.
- Report recurring issues and recommend corrective actions.
Inventory Management
- Monitor electrical spare parts inventory.
- Raise requisitions for required materials and ensure optimal stock levels.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of electrical tools and equipment.
General Responsibilities
- Support cinema operations during emergencies.
- Assist during new installations, renovations, and electrical modifications.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in electrical rooms and work areas.
- Work in rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as per business requirements.
Required Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Electrician, Electrical Engineering, or a related trade.
- Valid Electrical License/Certification (where applicable).
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in hospitality, retail, multiplexes, malls, hotels, or commercial buildings.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, panels, circuits, and distribution systems.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
- Basic understanding of DG sets, UPS systems, and HVAC electrical controls.
- Good troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills.
- Familiarity with electrical safety regulations and procedures.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
