Job Summary
ShikshaSphere is looking for an experienced English Teacher to conduct engaging online live classes for students of Classes 9 and 10 based on the NCERT curriculum.
The candidate should have excellent command of English grammar, literature, writing and reading comprehension and should be capable of teaching school students through clear and engaging methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct interactive English live classes for Classes 9 and 10.
- Teach NCERT English textbooks, supplementary readers and grammar.
- Explain prose, poetry, literary devices and chapter themes.
- Develop students’ reading, writing, vocabulary and comprehension skills.
- Teach formal writing, analytical paragraphs and other prescribed formats.
- Conduct chapter-wise revision, practice sessions and doubt classes.
- Solve NCERT exercises, important questions and previous examination papers.
- Conduct chapter tests, mock examinations and detailed solution sessions.
- Prepare class notes, worksheets, assignments and revision material.
- Record concept-based and chapter-wise videos.
- Create educational short videos for YouTube and social media.
- Help students improve answer-writing and examination performance.
Required Skills
- Graduation from a recognised university; a degree in English is preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant teaching experience.
- Strong knowledge of the NCERT curriculum for Classes 9 and 10.
- Excellent command of English grammar, literature and writing.
- Excellent English communication, teaching and presentation skills.
- Previous online or YouTube teaching experience is preferred.
- Comfortable creating long-form lectures and short-form educational videos.
