Key Responsibilities

Install, commission, and test petrol and diesel generator (Genset) systems at customer sites.
Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of generator sets.
Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and control panel faults.
Service engines, alternators, batteries, fuel systems, cooling systems, lubrication systems, and
electrical components.
Troubleshoot AMF panels, ATS panels, AVR, controllers, wiring, and generator protection systems.
Conduct load testing, performance checks, and final inspections after repairs or commissioning.
Maintain detailed service reports, maintenance records, and inspection documentation.
Ensure all field activities comply with company safety standards and customer requirements.
Coordinate with internal teams for spare parts, technical support, and timely service completion.
Provide technical guidance and operational support to customers.
Attend emergency breakdown calls and ensure timely fault resolution.
Maintain company tools, equipment, and service instruments in good working condition.
Required Skills

Hands-on experience in servicing petrol and diesel generator sets.
Strong knowledge of generator engines, alternators, electrical systems, and control panels.
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults independently.
Working knowledge of AMF/ATS panels, AVR, battery charging systems, and generator controls.
Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
Familiarity with electrical testing and diagnostic instruments such as multimeters, clamp meters,
insulation testers, and engine diagnostic tools.
Good communication, customer handling, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently in field conditions.
