Job Title: French Teacher (CBSE)

Job Summary
The French Teacher is responsible for teaching French as a second language in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. The teacher will develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills while fostering an appreciation for French language and culture through engaging and interactive learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver French lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
- Develop age-appropriate lesson plans, worksheets, projects, and assessments.
- Evaluate students' performance through classwork, assignments, tests, and examinations.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessment, and student progress.
- Create an inclusive, positive, and interactive classroom environment.
- Use technology and innovative teaching methodologies to enhance learning.
- Prepare students for CBSE examinations and language proficiency assessments where applicable.
- Provide timely feedback to students and communicate progress with parents.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and staff meetings.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and interdisciplinary activities.
- Promote awareness of French culture through language activities, celebrations, and clubs.
- Maintain discipline and ensure student safety in accordance with school policies.
- Undertake additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in French, Modern Languages, or a related field.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) from a recognized institution (preferred/required as per school policy).
- Knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and assessment practices.
Experience
- 1–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE or equivalent school (preferred).
- Freshers with strong academic credentials and language proficiency may also be considered.
