We are looking for an experienced Loading & Logistics Manager to oversee dispatch, loading, transportation, and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely dispatch of finished goods, efficient vehicle planning, cost-effective transportation, and smooth coordination between production, warehouse, and transport teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesLoading & Dispatch Management
- Plan and supervise daily loading and dispatch operations.
- Ensure the correct products, quantities, and documents are loaded before dispatch.
- Coordinate loading schedules with production, warehouse, and sales teams.
- Monitor loading activities to ensure safe handling and prevent product damage.
- Maintain accurate loading records and dispatch reports.
- Ensure timely dispatch of customer orders.
Logistics & Transportation
- Plan transportation requirements and vehicle allocation.
- Coordinate with transporters, drivers, and fleet operators.
- Track shipments and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Optimize transportation routes to improve efficiency and reduce logistics costs.
- Resolve transportation issues such as delivery delays, vehicle breakdowns, and customer concerns.
- Monitor freight expenses and negotiate transportation rates when required.
Inventory & Documentation
- Verify dispatch quantities against sales orders and delivery challans.
- Maintain records of dispatches, freight costs, and delivery status.
- Ensure compliance with GST, E-Way Bill, and transportation regulations.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure product availability for dispatch.
Team Management
- Lead and supervise loading staff, logistics coordinators, forklift operators, and dispatch personnel.
- Train team members on loading procedures, safety standards, and operational best practices.
- Monitor employee productivity and maintain discipline within the team.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and workplace safety standards.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure safe loading, unloading, and transportation practices.
- Verify vehicle compliance with legal weight limits and transportation regulations.
- Investigate logistics-related incidents, damages, or accidents and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of dispatch operations, logistics, and transportation management.
- Experience in vehicle planning, route optimization, and freight cost management.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and inventory coordination.
- Knowledge of GST, E-Way Bill, transportation documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Commerce, or a related field.
- Additional certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management will be an advantage.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
