Role Overview
We are looking for a data-driven and detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will be the bridge between demand planning, warehousing, and sales. With 1 to 2 years of fast-paced retail or FMCG experience under your belt, you understand that inventory isn't just about counting boxes—it’s about optimizing cash flow, reducing waste, and ensuring our products are on the shelves exactly when our customers want them.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Monitoring & Optimization
- Track and analyze daily inventory levels across multiple warehouses, distribution centers, or retail outlets.
- Monitor key performance metrics including Inventory Turnover Ratio, Days of Inventory Outstanding (DIO), and Stockout Rates.
- Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or dead stock (SLOB) and collaborate with commercial teams to create clearance strategies.
2. Demand Alignment & Replenishment
- Analyze historical sales data, promotional calendars, and seasonal trends to support replenishment planning.
- Collaborate with purchasing and vendor teams to ensure optimal reorder points and safety stock levels.
- Flag potential stock shortages or overstocks before they impact sales or warehouse capacity.
3. Data Analytics & Reporting
- Maintain accurate inventory databases and generate weekly/monthly inventory health dashboards.
- Perform root-cause analysis on inventory discrepancies (e.g., phantom inventory, systemic errors).
- Utilize Excel and ERP tools to forecast inventory capital requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience & Education
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in inventory management, data analytics, or supply chain, ideally within a Retail or FMCG environment.
Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel: Deep comfort with VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, and data cleaning formulas.
- ERP/WMS Systems: Exposure to inventory modules in ERPs

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
