We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – HR & Industrial Relations (IR) with 6–7 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Industrial Relations, employee relations, grievance handling, disciplinary procedures, statutory compliance, and HR committee management. Experience in handling and coordinating POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) Committee activities is highly preferred.
The candidate should be willing to work at Pochampalli, Krishnagiri District, Tamil Nadu.
Key Responsibilities1. Industrial Relations & Employee Relations
- Manage day-to-day Industrial Relations (IR) activities and maintain a healthy employee-management relationship.
- Handle employee grievances, complaints, disciplinary matters, and workplace conflicts.
- Support management in handling disciplinary actions, show-cause notices, domestic enquiries, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with workmen, employee representatives, and union representatives, wherever applicable.
- Monitor employee relations and proactively identify potential IR issues.
- Support management during negotiations and discussions with employees/unions.
- Maintain proper records and documentation related to IR matters.
- Support smooth implementation of HR policies and procedures at the plant.
2. Committee Management
- Coordinate and effectively manage various statutory and internal employee committees.
- Plan and conduct committee meetings as per applicable requirements.
- Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, action points, and follow-up reports.
- Ensure timely closure of action items arising from committee meetings.
- Maintain proper records and documentation for all committees.
- Coordinate with committee members and management for effective functioning of committees.
3. POSH Committee – Key Responsibility
- Coordinate and support the functioning of the Internal Committee (IC) under POSH.
- Ensure that the POSH Internal Committee is constituted and functioning as per applicable statutory requirements.
- Coordinate POSH committee meetings, awareness programs, and related activities.
- Maintain proper documentation and records relating to POSH activities.
- Support the Internal Committee in handling complaints in accordance with the applicable POSH process and confidentiality requirements.
- Coordinate with the external member and other committee members.
- Conduct/coordinate regular POSH awareness and sensitization programs for employees.
- Ensure appropriate reporting, documentation, and statutory compliance related to POSH.
- Maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive employee complaints and committee matters.
4. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, employment regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with statutory consultants and relevant government authorities whenever required.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, notices, and returns related to HR/IR activities.
- Support labour inspections, audits, and statutory reviews.
- Keep track of changes in applicable labour legislation and ensure timely implementation.
5. Employee Engagement & HR Operations
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and welfare activities at the plant.
- Address employee concerns and provide appropriate HR support.
- Support manpower planning, attendance, leave, and workforce-related activities.
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve employee-related issues.
- Support HR initiatives related to discipline, productivity, retention, and employee satisfaction.
Candidate Profile
- Qualification: MBA/PGDM in HR / MSW / MA in HR or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Minimum 6–7 years of experience in HR & Industrial Relations, preferably in a manufacturing/plant environment.
- Strong practical experience in IR and employee relations.
- Proven experience in handling HR/IR committees, particularly the POSH Internal Committee.
- Good knowledge of applicable labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Experience in grievance handling, disciplinary proceedings, and employee conflict resolution.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee matters professionally.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
- Candidates from manufacturing/industrial establishments will be preferred.

Location Requirement
Candidates must be willing to work at Pochampalli, Krishnagiri District, Tamil Nadu.
Candidates who are currently working in plant HR/IR roles and have hands-on experience in POSH Internal Committee handling and other statutory/internal committees will be given preference.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
