Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the overall operations, strategic growth, financial performance, clinical governance, and organizational development of the hospital.
The CEO will work closely with the Board/Management, Medical Superintendent, senior doctors, nursing leadership, finance, HR, and other department heads to ensure quality patient care, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the hospital's short-term and long-term strategic plans.
- Provide overall leadership across clinical, administrative, financial, HR, and support functions.
- Take overall responsibility for hospital P&L, budgeting, revenue growth, cost optimization, and financial sustainability.
- Monitor hospital KPIs including occupancy, ARPOB, patient volumes, revenue, EBITDA, patient satisfaction, quality indicators, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure high standards of patient safety, clinical quality, and patient experience.
- Work closely with the Medical Superintendent and clinical leadership to strengthen clinical governance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare laws, statutory requirements, licensing requirements, and accreditation standards such as NABH/NMC, wherever applicable.
- Lead recruitment, development, retention, and performance management of senior leadership and key hospital personnel.
- Drive initiatives to improve hospital utilization, service-line performance, referral networks, and patient acquisition.
- Identify opportunities for expansion, new specialties, infrastructure development, technology adoption, and strategic partnerships.
- Oversee hospital infrastructure, equipment, procurement, vendors, and resource utilization.
- Build strong relationships with doctors, patients, employees, government authorities, insurers/TPAs, corporate clients, and other stakeholders.
- Represent the hospital in external meetings, industry forums, community initiatives, and strategic partnerships.
- Establish a culture of accountability, ethical conduct, teamwork, patient-centricity, and continuous improvement.
- Report organizational performance, strategic initiatives, financial results, and major risks to the Board/Management.
Candidate Profile
- Graduate/Postgraduate qualification in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Medicine, or a related field.
- MBA/MHA/Healthcare Management qualification will be preferred.
- 15–20+ years of relevant experience in hospital/healthcare management, with substantial senior leadership exposure.
- Experience managing a multi-specialty/tertiary-care hospital will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of hospital operations, P&L management, clinical governance, quality systems, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with NABH accreditation and quality management systems will be an advantage.
- Proven ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams and senior medical/administrative professionals.
- Strong business acumen with experience in revenue growth, cost management, and operational improvement.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, decision-making, and stakeholder-management skills.

Pay: Up to ₹9,000,000.00 per year
