Job Overview
Aalaya Engineering Project Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Store Keeper to manage day-to-day inventory, material receiving, storage, and issuance at our residential/commercial building construction site in Niwaru, Jaipur. The candidate will ensure seamless site operations by maintaining optimal stock levels and precise digital and physical records.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming construction materials (cement, steel, shuttering, hardware, safety gear) against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN/MRN) and log daily material movements in registers or store management software.
- Issue tools and materials to site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors based on authorized requisitions.
- Maintain accurate inventory stock registers (physical and digital) and conduct weekly/monthly stock reconciliations.
- Organize store layout efficiently to prevent damage, pilferage, or weather exposure of sensitive construction materials.
- Track returnable materials, machinery tools, and machinery equipment issued to site labor.
- Identify shortages, reorder levels, and scrap materials, coordinating proactively with the procurement team.
- Implement site safety, house-keeping, and security standards within the store premisses.
Key Requirements
- Education: 12th Pass, Diploma, or Graduate degree.
- Experience: 3 to 6 years of store handling experience strictly in building construction or civil infrastructure projects.
- Technical Skills: Basic to intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and site inventory software/ERP.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of civil construction raw materials, measurement units, and quality check parameters.
- Strong record-keeping abilities, integrity, and clear communication skills.
