Maxfort International School is seeking a responsible, proactive, and organized Estate Manager cum Housekeeping Incharge to oversee the overall maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and day-to-day operations of the school campus. The ideal candidate should ensure that the campus remains clean, secure, well-maintained, and conducive to a safe learning environment while effectively managing housekeeping staff and facility operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the overall maintenance and upkeep of the school campus, including classrooms, offices, washrooms, laboratories, playgrounds, and common areas.
* Ensure all civil, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and other maintenance work is carried out efficiently.
* Conduct regular inspections of the campus and identify maintenance requirements.
* Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
* Monitor the functioning of utilities such as electricity, water supply, generators, lifts, and fire safety systems.
* Supervise AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) vendors and external service providers.
Housekeeping Management
* Supervise housekeeping staff and allocate daily duties.
* Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation throughout the campus.
* Monitor cleaning schedules for classrooms, offices, washrooms, corridors, and outdoor areas.
* Maintain adequate stock of housekeeping materials and cleaning equipment.
* Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal practices.
Safety & Security
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire safety norms.
* Conduct routine inspections of fire extinguishers, emergency exits, and safety equipment.
* Coordinate with the security team to maintain a safe and secure campus environment.
* Report and address safety hazards promptly.
Inventory & Vendor Management
* Maintain inventory records for housekeeping supplies, maintenance tools, and consumables.
* Coordinate with vendors for procurement, servicing, and repairs.
* Verify service quality and maintain vendor documentation.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Facility Management, Hospitality, Engineering, Administration, or a related field.
* Certification in Facility Management or Housekeeping will be an added advantage.
Experience
* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in estate management, facility management, or housekeeping supervision.
* Experience in schools, educational institutions, hospitals, hotels, or large commercial facilities will be preferred.
Salary
As per qualifications and experience.
