Job Summary
We are looking for a Project Management Intern to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects across our AI, robotics, firmware, and hardware teams in a fast-paced defence-technology environment. The role involves assisting senior project and program managers in tracking milestones, managing documentation, and keeping cross-functional teams aligned as we develop and deploy counter-drone systems for mission-critical applications. This is a hands-on learning opportunity ideal for someone organized, detail-oriented, and eager to build a career in project or program management within deep-tech and defence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist project and program managers in planning, scheduling, and tracking project tasks, milestones, and deliverables across AI/ML, computer vision, robotics, firmware, and hardware teams.
- Maintain and update project documentation, timelines, sprint boards, and status reports to ensure a single source of truth for ongoing work
- Coordinate cross-functional meetings, capture clear notes, and track action items and follow-ups through to closure.
- Monitor project progress against plans and proactively flag risks, blockers, and dependencies to project managers.
- Help manage and maintain project management tools and boards (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar) and keep them current.
- Support communication and coordination between engineering teams, leadership, and external stakeholders, including activities related to Proof of Concepts (POCs) with defence and aerospace entities.
- Assist in preparing presentations, dashboards, and progress summaries for internal reviews and stakeholder updates.
- Help coordinate logistics for field trials, demos, and POC deployments, including scheduling, resource readiness, and documentation.
- Support procurement, resource tracking, and basic research or data gathering to inform project planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to understand project goals, translate them into trackable tasks, and keep delivery on schedule in a dynamic, mission-critical environment.
Required Skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Clear written and verbal communication, with comfort coordinating across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and a proactive, ownership-driven approach to following up on tasks and action items.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, documents, and productivity tools for tracking and reporting.
- Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or similar) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies is an advantage.
- Ability to adapt quickly and stay organized in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment
- Discretion and reliability when working with sensitive, confidential, or mission-critical information
Qualification
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong interest in technology, robotics, or the defence sector
- Strong problem-solving attitude and willingness to learn
- Participation in clubs, hackathons, robotics competitions, or any team-coordination experience is a plus
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and a hustling mindset
