Job Summary
Silver Storm is looking for an experienced Site In-Charge – Civil to oversee and manage construction and civil works at our project site. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in construction project execution, site supervision, contractor management and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
- Supervise and coordinate all construction works to ensure timely completion as per project requirements.
- Monitor contractors, subcontractors, labourers and site activities.
- Ensure construction work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, engineers, contractors and management.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project schedules and milestones.
- Check quality of materials and workmanship at the site.
- Ensure proper execution of RCC, structural, masonry, plastering, flooring, finishing and other civil works.
- Review drawings and coordinate with the concerned teams regarding technical requirements and site issues.
- Identify and resolve construction-related technical and operational issues.
- Maintain daily site records, progress reports, measurements and work documentation.
- Monitor material requirements and coordinate with procurement and stores teams.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, construction regulations and site procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and report progress and issues to management.
- Coordinate multiple activities and ensure smooth execution of projects within the approved timelines and budget.
Candidate Profile
- B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Civil Construction Projects.
- Strong experience in handling construction sites independently.
- Experience in project execution, contractor management and site supervision.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials and quality standards.
- Good knowledge of reading and interpreting civil, structural and architectural drawings.
- Excellent leadership, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and reporting abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple site activities and teams effectively.
- Candidates with experience in large-scale commercial, hospitality, amusement park, infrastructure or similar projects will be preferred.
