Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Shift Operations & Output Management
· Meet Targets: Execute daily production schedules for olivine sand & submitting daily Stock & Production details.
· Workflow Coordination: Assign tasks to operators at crushing, milling, screening, and preventive maintenance.
· Logistics Handling: Monitor the continuous flow of raw dunite ore from stockyards into the primary crushers.
2. Process Control & Quality Assurance
· Grain Size Monitoring: Verify that screening meshes output the exact mesh sizes required for foundry sand or EBT filling mass.
· Sample Coordination: Work with the laboratory team to pull hourly samples for chemical and sieve analysis.
3. Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
· Machine Inspection: Perform pre-shift checks on high-wear equipment like jaw crushers, and secondary crusher units, sieve.
· Minimize Downtime: Report mechanical or electrical faults immediately to the maintenance team and oversee rapid repairs.
· Utility Monitoring: Track electricity consumption patterns across the processing lines.
4. Safety, Compliance & Team Leadership
· Enforce Safety: Mandate the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to protect workers from heavy silica/olivine dust and high heat.
· Dust Control: Ensure dust suppression systems, bag filters, and ventilation units operate within environmental limits.
· Team Management: Log shift attendance, resolve operator conflicts, and train workers on heavy machinery safety.
