Role Description The Area Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Ludhiana, responsible for overseeing multiple café locations to ensure consistent operational excellence. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring store performance, guiding store managers, and implementing company standards for service, cleanliness, and product quality. The role involves analyzing sales data, managing budgets, and driving initiatives to increase revenue and customer satisfaction. The Area Manager will recruit, train, and mentor staff, support scheduling and workforce planning, and address operational issues promptly. This position also collaborates with leadership to execute local marketing initiatives, uphold health and safety compliance, and maintain strong relationships with vendors and the surrounding community.
Qualifications
- Experience in multi-store retail or food and beverage management, with the ability to oversee operations across several locations.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, including team coaching, performance feedback, and conflict resolution.
- Solid understanding of basic financials, such as budgeting, cost control, and sales analysis.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in daily operations.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written, for working with staff, suppliers, and customers.
- Knowledge of café or restaurant operations, including inventory management, hygiene standards, and customer service best practices.
- Comfort with using point-of-sale systems and basic office software for reporting and planning.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed, and travel between locations in Ludhiana.
- Previous experience as a store manager, area manager, or similar supervisory role is preferred.
- Relevant education in hospitality, business management, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
