Role
We are looking for an experienced production professional with strong hands-on experience in transformer manufacturing, capable of managing production activities from core assembly through winding, insulation, assembly, testing and FAT.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day production of transformers and ensure adherence to production schedules.
- Hands-on knowledge of:
- Core assembly and stacking
- Winding and insulation processes
- Coil geometry, dimensions and clearances
- Transformer termination and final assembly
- Vacuum impregnation / vacuum drying processes
- Transformer testing and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
- Understand transformer design, drawings, winding design, insulation systems and manufacturing methods.
- Coordinate with Design and Quality teams to resolve manufacturing and design-related issues.
- Ensure manufacturing is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, Quality Plans and applicable standards.
- Knowledge and experience of UL-approved transformer manufacturing and UL compliance requirements will be an important advantage.
- Plan manpower, materials and production activities and monitor shop-floor productivity.
- Identify manufacturing bottlenecks, defects and rework and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain production and quality documentation and ensure safe working practices.
Technical Competencies
Strong practical knowledge of:
- Transformer design and manufacturing
- Core and winding technology

- Coil geometry and dimensional control

Candidate Profile
- 6–8 years of relevant transformer manufacturing experience.
- Preferably hands-on shop-floor experience rather than purely supervisory experience.
- Good ability to read and interpret transformer drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and team-management skills.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
