Site / Construction Manager – Aluminium Furnace Package | India & KSA
Location: Phase 1 – India | Phase 2 – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)

Gillespie & Powers India is looking for an experienced Site / Construction Manager to join our prestigious Ma'aden Aluminum Recycling / Casthouse Project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved from the early construction planning stage through installation, commissioning, and final project handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop installation plans, installation manuals, lifting plans, and RAMS.
- Plan laydown areas, site logistics, and construction methodologies.
- Coordinate with the Client and EPCM during the pre-planning phase.
- Lead site mobilization, installation supervision, and subcontractor management.
- Manage multi-contractor interfaces and ensure smooth project execution.
- Drive mechanical completion, commissioning support, and project handover.
- Ensure the highest standards of HSE, quality, and regulatory compliance throughout the project.
Requirements
Significant experience as a Site Manager / Construction Manager on heavy industrial, EPC, or capital equipment projects.
Strong experience in:
- Construction planning and installation methodologies
- Lifting plans and rigging studies
- RAMS preparation
- Mechanical erection and installation supervision
- Construction site management and commissioning support
Experience managing subcontractors, client/EPCM coordination, and multi-contractor interfaces.
Strong understanding of:
- Heavy lifting operations
- Permit-to-Work systems
- Working at height
- Hot work
- Confined space activities
- Construction HSE practices
Excellent communication skills in English.
Willingness to relocate and work on-site in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Preferred
- Experience in furnace, smelter, metals, process plant, or similar industrial projects.
- Middle East / GCC project experience.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certifications.
- Experience with mechanical completion, punch listing, and commissioning activities.
