Key Responsibilities1. Accounting, Financial Reporting & Controls
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management MIS.
- Implement and maintain robust accounting policies, internal controls and month-end/year-end closing processes.
- Lead statutory, tax and management audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Oversee ERP / Tally or other finance systems and ensure accurate master data, ledgers and reconciliations.
- Monitor financial controls and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.
2. Import / Export Finance & Customs Oversight
- Manage the finance aspects of import and export transactions, including valuation, duty accounting, IGST treatment, duty drawback and inventory accounting.
- Coordinate with SCM, Customs House Agents (CHA) and Import/Export teams to ensure proper documentation and accounting treatment.
- Review and ensure accurate accounting of Bills of Entry, Bills of Lading (B/L), Air Waybills (AWB), freight and other import/export costs.
- Implement controls for import cost allocation and landed cost calculations.
- Reconcile customs duties and import-related costs with the books of accounts.
3. Taxation, Compliance & Governance
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, corporate tax and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with tax consultants and external advisors on taxation matters.
- Ensure statutory compliance related to payroll, employee benefits and other applicable filings.
- Strengthen internal governance, financial controls and process discipline.
- Drive process improvements and strengthen compliance frameworks.
4. Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead and manage the finance function covering:
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Cost Accounting
- Taxation
- Treasury
- Import Finance
- Payroll
- Build, mentor and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Define team KPIs, SLAs, training plans and succession plans.
- Establish financial SLAs with internal stakeholders including SCM, Sales and Service.
- Ensure financial discipline and timely support across business functions.
5. Treasury, Banking & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Handle credit facilities, banking limits, guarantees and other banking requirements.
- Oversee fund management, cash flow planning and allocation of funds.
- Support fundraising activities and financial requirements of the business.
- Handle investor, partner and principal-related financial queries.
- Provide financial analysis and commercial inputs to senior management.
6. Inter-Company & Related Party Transactions
- Manage inter-company accounting and reconciliations.
- Ensure proper accounting and governance of related-party transactions.
- Coordinate on transfer pricing requirements and documentation.
- Ensure appropriate financial controls for transactions with subsidiaries, partners and group entities.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA – Finance
- CA / CMA / CFA
- Or equivalent professional qualification with strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge.
Experience Required
- 3+ years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Experience in P&L management, treasury, taxation and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience in import/export accounting and customs duty treatment.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS and related statutory compliances.
- Experience in inter-company accounting, transfer pricing and related-party transactions.
- Exposure to fund raising, treasury management and banking relationships.
- Experience dealing with auditors, tax consultants, banks and other external stakeholders.
- Experience with Tally / ERP / accounting systems.
Office Timings : 9:30 am to 6:00 pm
Working Days: 6 days, 2nd & 4th Saturday Off
