Role Summary:
The Commis III is responsible for assisting in daily food production in the central kitchen, ensuring consistent quality, taste, and presentation. The role involves supporting senior chefs in bulk preparation, basic cooking/baking tasks, and maintaining strict hygiene and food safety standards. Candidates must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment while following standard recipes and processes.
Background & Experience:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a professional kitchen (café, restaurant, or cloud kitchen).
- Basic knowledge of continental cuisine, including salads, sandwiches, pasta, and breakfast items.
- Experience in food preparation, cutting, marination, and basic cooking techniques.
- Familiar with kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, fryers, and induction.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (FSSAI guidelines).
Key Skills:
- Basic knife skills and ingredient handling
- Ability to follow recipes and SOPs
- Speed, consistency, and attention to detail
- Teamwork and willingness to learn
Preferred:
- Hotel Management diploma or certification
- Experience in a café or fast-paced kitchen setup
