About the Role
Vrozart Group is building a serious longevity research function — The Longevity Initiative — focused on the science of extending healthy human lifespan through evidence-based research, nutraceutical development, and accessible public communication. This is a full-time research role for a molecular biologist who wants to do meaningful scientific work at the intersection of biology, nutrition, and applied longevity science.
You will lead the scientific research function of the initiative, drive nutraceutical formulation and development, and own The Longevor — our public-facing blog that translates frontier longevity science into language that educated non-specialists can engage with.
What You Will Do
Research
- Design and conduct research into molecular mechanisms of ageing — senescence, mitochondrial function, telomere biology, mTOR and AMPK pathways, inflammaging, and related areas
- Review and synthesise current literature across longevity science, nutraceuticals, biomarkers, and preventive health — staying current with publications from leading labs and institutions globally
- Identify research gaps and promising intervention targets relevant to Vrozart's longevity focus
- Build and maintain a structured research database tracking compounds, studies, outcomes, and evidence quality
- Collaborate with external researchers, clinicians, and institutions including PGIMER Chandigarh and ICMR's National Institute on Ageing where opportunities arise
- Contribute to the development of Vrozart's internal research agenda and long-term scientific roadmap
Nutraceutical Development
- Identify bioactive compounds with evidence-based longevity, anti-ageing, or healthspan applications — across adaptogens, senolytics, NAD+ precursors, polyphenols, peptides, and metabolic compounds
- Evaluate existing research on formulation, bioavailability, dosing, safety profiles, and interaction effects
- Work with formulation partners, contract manufacturers, and ingredient suppliers to develop nutraceutical products grounded in the scientific literature
- Ensure all product development is consistent with FSSAI regulatory requirements and AYUSH guidelines where applicable
- Maintain rigorous documentation of the evidence base underlying every formulation decision
The Longevor — Blog and Science Communication
- Own and manage The Longevor — Vrozart's longevity-focused publication — as its primary scientific voice
- Write original articles that translate complex longevity science into accessible, accurate, engaging content for an educated general audience
- Develop a consistent editorial calendar covering research reviews, compound spotlights, biomarker explainers, interview formats, and emerging science commentary
- Commission and edit contributions from external scientists, clinicians, and researchers where relevant
- Ensure all published content meets a high standard of scientific accuracy — no extrapolation beyond the evidence, no health claims that are not substantiated
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications
- M.Sc. or PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, or a closely related field
- Strong working knowledge of ageing biology, cellular senescence, oxidative stress, metabolic pathways, and nutritional biochemistry
- Experience with scientific literature review and evidence synthesis
- Prior exposure to nutraceuticals, functional foods, or supplement formulation is a significant advantage
- Published research or science communication experience is preferred
