Homestay Supervisor / Caretaker; Wayanad (Salary + Incentives)
A premium homestay/apartment property located at Kuppadi, Sulthan Bathery, Wayanad, is looking for a responsible, trustworthy and guest-friendly Supervisor / Caretaker to manage the day-to-day operations of the property.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage bookings through Booking, Airbnb, MakeMyTrip and other online booking platforms.
* Handle booking enquiries, confirmations, cancellations, modifications and guest communications.
* Monitor availability, rates and room/unit status on booking platforms and keep calendars updated accurately.
* Coordinate guest check-in and check-out and ensure a smooth guest experience.
* Ensure rooms and common areas are clean, neat and ready before guest arrival.
* Supervise housekeeping, cleaning, laundry and other property-related activities.
* Attend to guest requests and resolve day-to-day guest issues professionally.
* Coordinate maintenance, repairs, technicians and local service providers.
* Maintain inventory of linen, toiletries, cleaning materials and other supplies.
* Maintain basic records of bookings, expenses, payments and property activities.
* Ensure the property is secure, clean and properly maintained.
* Report important operational or guest-related issues to management promptly.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
* Experience in managing bookings through Booking, Airbnb, MakeMyTrip or similar online booking platforms is a key requirement.
* Previous experience in a hotel, resort, homestay, serviced apartment or similar property is preferred.
* Experience as a caretaker, resort/hotel staff, front-office staff or housekeeping supervisor will be an advantage.
* Good communication skills in English and Malayalam.
* Hindi, Tamil, Kannada or other additional language skills will be an added advantage.
* Comfortable using smartphones, computers, WhatsApp and online booking systems.
* Must be trustworthy, responsible, polite, guest-friendly and service-oriented.
* Should be capable of working independently and taking responsibility for the property.
* Candidates from Wayanad and nearby areas will be preferred.
* Willingness to stay at the property will be an advantage.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
Salary: ₹13,000 – ₹15,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.
In addition, performance-based incentives with clear and achievable targets will be provided.
Incentives will be linked to measurable performance such as occupancy, bookings, guest satisfaction, online reviews and overall property performance.
Accommodation can be provided.
