The Enterprise Architect is responsible for defining, governing, and evolving the organization's'enterprise architecture across business applications, engineering platforms, project delivery systems, enterprise services, data, AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and operational support functions.
This role serves as the enterprise-wide architecture authority, ensuring technology investments, platforms, and solutions align with business strategy, operational goals, digital transformation objectives, and long-term enterprise roadmaps.
The Enterprise Architect owns the architecture lifecycle for a diverse portfolio of business-critical applications spanning Engineering, Project Delivery, ERP, Finance, HR, Procurement, Collaboration, AI, Data & Analytics, Security, and Enterprise Services. ERP is one component of the broader enterprise landscape and not the primary focus of the role.

What will you do?
Enterprise Architecture & Technology Strategy

Define and maintain enterprise architecture principles, standards, and governance frameworks.

Develop current-state, target-state, and transition-state architectures.

Create multi-year technology and business capability roadmaps.

Align technology investments with strategic business outcomes.

Lead Architecture Review Boards and enterprise design governance.

Serve as the organization's'architecture authority.
Enterprise Application Portfolio Management

Govern the enterprise application portfolio.

Lead application rationalization and simplification initiatives.

Drive platform consolidation and standardization.

Reduce technology duplication and technical debt.

Establish lifecycle management practices across all platforms.

Provide architecture leadership across Finance, Procurement, HR, ERP, Project Delivery, Engineering, and Corporate platforms.

Drive platform modernization and transformation initiatives.

Ensure interoperability across enterprise systems.

Maintain enterprise-wide application standards and governance.
Integration Architecture

Define enterprise integration strategy.

Establish API-first and event-driven architecture principles.

Define middleware and integration platform standards.

Ensure seamless integration across business-critical platforms.

Drive reusable and scalable integration patterns.
Data Architecture & Governance

Define enterprise data architecture.

Establish master data ownership and governance.

Drive data quality, stewardship, and lifecycle management.

Ensure trusted and consistent data across business domains.
AI, Automation & Digital Innovation

Define enterprise AI architecture and governance.

Lead Microsoft Copilot strategy and implementation governance.

Establish Responsible AI principles.

Govern AI, machine learning, and automation solutions.

Enable intelligent business services and digital innovation.
Cloud & Technology Platform Strategy

Define cloud adoption and hosting strategies.

Establish architecture standards for SaaS, cloud, and hybrid platforms.

Drive platform resilience, scalability, and cost optimization.

Lead cloud governance and FinOps practices.
-
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
Application Management Services (AMS) Governance
-
Define enterprise application support and operational governance standards.

Ensure seamless transition from project delivery to operational support.

Establish support models, service KPIs, and operational controls.

Drive continuous service improvement and automation.
-
Reduce application incidents, support costs, and operational risks.
Security, Risk & Compliance
-
Embed Security-by-Design principles into all solutions.

Govern identity, access management, and platform security standards.
-
Ensure compliance with regulatory, client, and corporate requirements.

Support Zero Trust and enterprise cyber-security initiatives.
-
Partner with security teams to maintain an audit-ready technology landscape.
Vendor & Technology Governance
-
Govern strategic technology partnerships and vendor roadmaps.

Lead software asset management and licensing optimization initiatives.
-
Ensure vendor solutions align with enterprise standards.
-
Drive commercial optimization and technology value realization.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
-
Partner with business leaders, engineering leaders, finance leaders, HR leadership, and technology teams.
-
Influence strategic technology decisions at executive level.
-
Lead architecture communities and technical governance forums.
-
Mentor architects and develop enterprise architecture capabilities.
-
Build a culture of innovation, governance, standardization, and operational excellence.
-
15+ years of progressive experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Digital Transformation, or Technology Leadership roles.

Experience governing large-scale enterprise application portfolios.
-
Experience leading complex business and technology transformation programs.
-
Experience working across engineering, business, corporate, and digital platforms.
-
Experience operating in global, multi-vendor environments.
-
Experience balancing strategic transformation with operational excellence.
