Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Prepare metal surfaces by cutting, grinding, and cleaning before welding.
- Set up and operate welding machines and related tools safely.
- Inspect welded joints for strength, accuracy, and defects.
- Maintain proper welding parameters such as voltage, current, and gas flow.
- Repair and fabricate metal structures, frames, pipes, or equipment.
- Follow workplace safety standards and welding procedures.
- Maintain welding equipment and perform basic machine maintenance.
- Work with supervisors, engineers, or fabricators to complete projects on time.
