JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES

Account Ownership & Retention:
- Develop, manage and grow a portfolio of Regent Plast's key accounts — primary responsibility is retention, relationship depth, and service excellence
- Serve as the senior point of contact for assigned accounts at decision-maker level (procurement head, packaging development head, supply chain head)
- Conduct regular structured business reviews with clients; stay ahead of upcoming product launches, volume changes, and packaging requirements
- Proactively identify and resolve service issues (delivery delays, quality concerns, sampling timelines) before they escalate; coordinate cross-functionally with factory, quality, and dispatch teams
- Track and own account health metrics: revenue trend, OTIF, escalation frequency, client satisfaction
Growth within Accounts:
- Identify opportunities to increase share of wallet within existing accounts — new SKUs, new packaging formats, new product lines
- Introduce relevant new capabilities (new materials, new finishes, sustainability options) to existing clients
- Negotiate annual pricing, volume commitments, and contract terms in coordination with management
Relationship Management:
- Build deep, multi-level relationships within each key account — not just the primary buyer
- Represent Regent Plast at key account review meetings, business planning sessions, and client events
- Maintain complete and up-to-date account records, contact maps, and interaction history in CRM

DESIRED PROFILE

- 8–18 years in B2B sales or key account management; packaging industry strongly preferred, beauty and personal care or industrial sales are assets.
- Demonstrated track record of independently managing key accounts with revenue of Rs. 2 Crore+ per account
- Strong existing relationships at procurement/packaging/supply chain level in FMCG, personal care, home care, pharma, or agro-chemical companies — this is a significant advantage
- High ownership mindset: this role requires someone who treats assigned accounts as their own business and resolves issues without hand-holding
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging at senior/C-suite level
- Skilled negotiator — able to hold commercial discussions confidently while protecting the relationship
- Proficient in CRM, Excel, and standard office tools
- UG: Any Graduate | PG: Preferred but not required
- Mumbai-based candidates only; age 32–48
