Douglas Memorial Higher Secondary School, known for 4 2 years of academic excellence and producing numerous national and international level sportspersons, is looking for a dedicated and dynamic PGT Physical Education Teacher to join our team.
Qualifications Required:
- Master’s Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) from a recognized university
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a recognized school
- Experience with the ISC Council as an Evaluating Examiner will be preferred
Responsibilities:
- Teach Physical Education to senior secondary students in accordance with ISC curriculum
- Train and guide students in various sports and physical fitness activities
- Organize school sports events, tournaments, and athletic meets
- Promote discipline, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles among students
- Train and mentor students in various sports disciplines
- Prepare teams for inter-school, district, state, and national competitions
- Organise sports activities, events, and annual athletic meets
- Maintain discipline, motivation, and sportsmanship among students
- Ensure students’ physical development, fitness, and skill improvement
- Work closely with school management and PE department

- Strong leadership and coaching abilities
- Good communication and student-handling skills
- Passion for teaching and sports excellence
- Ability to inspire and motivate young athletes
