Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and qualified TGT Mathematics Teacher to teach students of Classes VI to X. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to simplify mathematical concepts through engaging and interactive teaching methods. The candidate should inspire students to develop logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics to students of Classes VI–X in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver well-structured lesson plans aligned with academic objectives.
- Explain mathematical concepts using innovative, activity-based, and technology-enabled teaching methods.
- Conduct regular assessments, assignments, projects, and examinations to evaluate student learning.
- Identify individual learning needs and provide remedial support where required.
- Encourage students to develop logical reasoning, critical thinking, and quantitative aptitude.
- Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Integrate digital learning tools, Smart Boards, and educational technology into classroom instruction.
- Prepare students for mathematics Olympiads, quizzes, and other academic competitions.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student progress.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' academic performance and development.
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, training programs, and extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum delivery and student outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mathematics or a related discipline.
- CTET/State TET qualification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE/ICSE/recognized school.
- Freshers with excellent subject knowledge, strong communication skills, and a passion for teaching may also apply.
Skills Required
- Strong command of Mathematics concepts for middle and secondary school levels.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to make complex concepts easy to understand through practical and interactive teaching.
- Proficiency in Smart Boards, MS Office, and digital teaching platforms.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to motivate and mentor students to achieve academic excellence.
