About the role
Expert Resourcing is hiring two Technical Consultants for an established IT solutions and training company. You will provide L1 and L2 support to users and help manage day-to-day IT infrastructure, Microsoft services, networks and endpoints.
What you will do
- Provide L1 and L2 technical support for hardware, software, network connectivity and system performance issues.
- Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and other IT devices.
- Support Windows Server services, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
- Create and manage user accounts, access permissions and identities in Active Directory and Azure AD.
- Troubleshoot LAN and WAN connectivity, slow networks and endpoint security issues.
- Support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams and basic SharePoint administration.
- Perform basic Microsoft Azure administration, including virtual machines, virtual networks and storage.
- Keep IT asset records, system configurations and technical documents up to date.
- Monitor backups, endpoint protection and IT security practices.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware purchase, AMC support and technical issue resolution.
- Assist with VMware or Hyper-V virtualisation environments.
- Support infrastructure upgrades, system migrations and technology improvement projects.
You may be a good fit if you
- Have 2–4 years of hands-on IT support or infrastructure experience.
- Can troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, servers and common network issues.
- Have practical knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
- Understand Microsoft 365 administration and basic Microsoft Azure services.
- Have worked with VMware, Hyper-V or similar virtualisation tools.
- Communicate clearly, document your work and follow issues through to resolution.
