1. Professional Development: • Assess the training needs of the Pre-Primary teachers. • Organize training based on the need analysis and monitor follow-up. • Organize coordination meetings, fix the agenda and maintain the minutes of the meeting. • Remain abreast with current and internationally recognized Early Childhood practices and strive to continually learn and refine practice 2. Institutional Development: • Help to interview new staff as and when required • Give suggestions to the Vice Principal on teaching load allocation. • Give feedback to the Vice Principal about the teachers’ performance 3. Administrative: • Manage procurement of stationery, photocopies and other materials required for the various events and activities as well as resources which need replacement or repair • Settle accounts with administrative office bearers regarding various expenses like 'Read for Children' books, class library books, materials, etc. • Collect and submit money sent by parents for various activities. • Vigil, report and ensure that the facility-linked maintenance and repair work is done on time. • Arrange for book exhibition during Open House along with the Librarians. • Handle the various committees, guide and support the committees and ensure they meet their goals • Help the school management with the admission procedure and events • Participate in the appraisal process of the teachers • Co-ordinate with teachers and level coordinators for their requirements • Aid the teacher recruitment process by getting involved in the selection, scrutiny of resumes, observation of demonstration session and giving feedback • Arrange for substitution or replacement of a teacher when the need arises • Collate information for the quarterly MIS • Create and collate information, pictures and write up for the quarterly and annual school magazine • Maintain record of teaching and learning material 4. Program and Curriculum related activities: • Plan and organize field trips for all three grades, at least 4 field trips per grade • Organize at least one special activity per month & promote parental involvement as and when possible • Review curriculum plans, teacher reflection and children observation regularly to ensure adherence to timelines and give feedback to the teachers on them. • Review, rewrite and give feedback on comments written by teachers for the report cards • Co-ordinate events, festivals, celebrations as per the plans shared by the Central Office team • Handle curriculum queries and report it to the CO • Observe classes and give feedback to Pre-Primary teachers • Conduct meetings with teachers as per schedule and provide necessary assistance, feedback and guidance. • Coordinate with teachers to plan, review and roll out the parent newsletter regularly • Mentor, coach and provide information, support and feedback to the Pre-Primary teachers to develop skills and understanding of early childhood practices. 5. Parents, Community and other Stakeholders Support: • Arrange the logistics for Parent Orientations, Workshops etc. • Conduct the parent orientation programme • Follow up for fee overdue • Prepare and review circulars/ notices linked to the curriculum and important announcements such as holidays, picnics, activities, regular updates to parents, etc. • Monitor communication on the Teno App for content and tone • Monitor monthly updates and handbook usage • Address and resolve issues related to parents, teachers or school management • Coordinate and meet parents for any queries and concerns. • Encourage parents to contribute to the newsletter
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
