Summary
Mboss Lexon LLP is looking for a Legal Associate to join our Kochi office and support our corporate, banking, and commercial law practice. In this role, you will draft and review legal documents, conduct research, and represent the firm before courts and tribunals across Kerala. Success in this position looks like building strong client relationships through precise legal work and dependable court representation, while growing into a trusted advisor across our core practice areas.
Responsibilities
- Appear before courts, tribunals, and forums across Kerala on behalf of clients
- Draft agreements, legal notices, opinions, contracts, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and provide well-reasoned legal opinions
- Support corporate and commercial advisory work, including compliance matters
- Manage case files, documentation, and track procedural deadlines
- Take on additional legal and administrative responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- LL.B. degree from a recognised university
- Enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council
- 2 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law preferred; candidates with prior exposure to corporate entities are encouraged to apply
- Strong legal drafting, research, and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, and commitment to client outcomes
