Reports To: F&B Supervisor / Restaurant Captain
Job Summary
The Steward / Waiter is responsible for delivering excellent food and beverage service to guests, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining cleanliness standards, and supporting smooth restaurant and banquet operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests professionally and assist with seating arrangements.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure timely service.
- Serve food and beverages as per hotel SOP and service standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, restaurant area, and service stations.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth order execution.
- Handle guest queries and complaints politely and professionally.
- Ensure proper table setup, buffet setup, and table clearance.
- Maintain hygiene, grooming, and discipline during duty hours.
- Support banquet, conference, and event operations as required.
- Ensure proper handling of crockery, cutlery, and restaurant equipment.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards.
Required Skills
- Good communication and guest handling skills.
- Strong service attitude and teamwork capability.
- Basic knowledge of restaurant service standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and in rotational shifts.
- Professional grooming and positive behavior.
Qualification & Experience
- Minimum 10th / 12th Pass.
- Diploma in Hotel Management preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel, resort, or restaurant service operations.
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
