About the Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable and innovative Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Mechanical Engineering to join our Content Development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality educational content, developing technical curricula, writing instructional scripts, and collaborating with multimedia teams to produce engaging learning materials focused on Mechanical Engineering concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop curriculum and course content for SolidWorks, ANSYS, and HyperMesh.
- Create and model Mechanical Engineering components using SolidWorks.
- Write technical video scripts in English and Telugu.
- Guide the creation of 2D/3D visual assets for engineering learning concepts.
- Prepare 3D animation sheets with annotations, highlights, and technical references.
- Design frame-by-frame PowerPoint storyboards and organize video asset sequencing.
- Collaborate with 3D artists, instructional designers, and video editors during content production.
- Review and validate technical accuracy of educational content.
- Ensure content aligns with industry standards and learning objectives.
Required Qualifications
- M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of core Mechanical Engineering concepts.
- Hands-on experience with SolidWorks, ANSYS, and HyperMesh.
- Experience in curriculum development and technical content creation.
- Proficiency in mechanical component design and CAD modeling.
- Ability to create structured educational materials and technical documentation.
- Experience in preparing instructional presentations and storyboards.
- Familiarity with 2D/3D visualization and animation workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional creative teams.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Telugu is preferred for script writing.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Mechanical Engineering content development, teaching, or technical training.
- Passion for creating learner-focused educational content.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to technical accuracy.
