Asset Sentinel is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our technology team and help build secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions.
If you have strong software engineering fundamentals, enjoy solving complex technical problems, and want to take ownership of production-grade applications, this opportunity is for you.
What You'll Do
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications and platform services.
Build secure and reusable backend systems, APIs, and business logic.
Work closely with Product, Full Stack, Infrastructure, UI/UX, and QA teams.
Contribute to software architecture and technical decisions.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
Improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
Debug and resolve complex production issues.
Contribute to CI/CD, deployment, and software release processes.
Identify opportunities to improve engineering practices and technology.
What We're Looking For
✔ 5+ years of professional software development experience
✔ Strong proficiency in one or more of Java, C#, Python, Go, or Node.js
✔ Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise applications
✔ Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, design patterns, and software architecture
✔ Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
✔ Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
✔ Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
✔ Good communication and collaboration skills
Good to Have
Experience building B2B SaaS applications
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum
Experience with cloud-native or distributed systems
Understanding of DevOps and secure software development
Experience mentoring developers in a startup or growing technology environment
