Job Title: Helper – Transformer Manufacturing PlantJob Summary:
The Helper assists skilled technicians and operators in the production, assembly, and testing of electrical transformers. The role is primarily supportive, ensuring smooth workflow and maintaining safety, cleanliness, and efficiency in the manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Material Handling:
- Transport raw materials, components, and finished products between workstations.
- Load and unload transformer cores, coils, windings, and insulation materials safely.
- Assisting Technicians:
- Support skilled workers in assembling transformer parts.
- Help with winding, insulation, core stacking, and other manual processes.
- Hand over tools and materials as needed.
- Machine Support:
- Assist in operating machines under supervision.
- Clean, lubricate, and maintain equipment according to instructions.
- Quality and Safety Compliance:
- Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment at all times.
- Inspect materials and components for visible defects and report issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the workshop.
- Logistics and Documentation:
- Assist in inventory checks and material storage.
- Help in recording production data or machine logs when required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: 8 TH STD TO SSLC
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials and work standing for long periods.
- Skills:
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Teamwork and communication.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Work Environment:
- Factory floor with exposure to noise, machinery, and chemicals.
- Requires adherence to strict safety protocols.
- May involve shift work or extended hours during peak production.
