The Laboratory In-Charge is responsible for the overall management of the laboratory, ensuring accurate test results, quality assurance, patient safety, staff supervision, equipment maintenance, inventory control, and compliance with applicable healthcare standards and organizational policies.

Duties & Responsibilities
1. Laboratory Operations
- Supervise daily laboratory activities.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of samples.
- Verify laboratory reports before release (where applicable).
- Monitor workflow and turnaround time (TAT).
- Ensure uninterrupted laboratory services.
2. Quality Management
- Implement Quality Management System (QMS).
- Monitor Internal Quality Control (IQC).
- Coordinate External Quality Assurance (EQAS).
- Investigate quality issues.
- Maintain quality records.
- Conduct corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
3. Staff Management
- Supervise laboratory technicians and assistants.
- Prepare duty rosters.
- Monitor staff attendance and performance.
- Conduct orientation for new staff.

4. Equipment Management
- Ensure calibration of laboratory equipment.
