Job Description 1: Senior BSA – Data Governance (Band 6.1)
Position Summary
The Senior BSA - Data Governance will act as the strategic product analyst for the SunSpark Data Governance Platform. This role is responsible for defining and maintaining the 24‑month product roadmap, conducting market and competitive analysis, identifying emerging data governance trends, translating business and regulatory needs into product capabilities, and driving executive-level prioritization decisions across Asia markets.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Own and maintain the SunSpark 24‑month product roadmap.
- Define quarterly strategic themes, objectives, and success metrics.
- Identify opportunities to enhance metadata management, lineage, data quality, governance workflows, AI governance, policy management, and data products.
- Develop business cases and value realization plans for roadmap investments.
Competitive Benchmarking
- Conduct ongoing assessments of platforms such as Collibra, Alation, Atlan, Informatica, Microsoft Purview, and emerging governance technologies.
- Create capability heatmaps and gap analyses.
- Recommend build, enhance, partner, or integrate strategies.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with Data Governance Councils, Market CDO organizations, Data Stewards, Architects, and Technology teams.
- Facilitate roadmap prioritization sessions and governance workshops.
- Align competing market requirements into a consolidated product vision.
Research & Innovation
- Monitor industry trends in:
- Active Metadata
- Data Products
- Data Marketplace
- AI Governance
- Governance as Code
- Regulatory Compliance
- Recommend innovations for future SunSpark releases.
Product Planning
- Convert strategic initiatives into Epics, Features, and Capability Plans.
- Define measurable KPIs for adoption, trust, quality, operational efficiency, and compliance.
- Support PI Planning and annual planning cycles.
Executive Reporting
- Prepare leadership-ready presentations and roadmap reviews.
- Present recommendations to Product Council and senior leadership.
- Track roadmap progress and business outcomes.
Required Skills
- 8+ years in Data Governance, Data Management, Product Management, or Analytics.
- Strong understanding of:

- Experience with governance tools such as Collibra, Atlan, Alation, Informatica, or Purview.

Pay: ₹2,500,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
