Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic Retail Customer Sales Executive/Assistant to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in retail sales, strong customer handling skills, and fluency in the local language to effectively engage with the customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage customers on the retail floor, understanding their needs and recommending suitable products
- Achieve individual and store sales targets on a daily/monthly basis
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and after-sales service requests professionally
- Maintain product knowledge and stay updated on promotions, pricing, and new arrivals
- Ensure proper merchandising, stock display, and store presentation standards
- Process billing, returns, and exchanges accurately using POS systems
- Build long-term customer relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
- Coordinate with the store manager and team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Maintain records of sales, customer feedback, and inventory as required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience in retail sales or customer service roles
- Fluent in Tamil (spoken and written); basic English communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Customer-first attitude with a proactive sales approach
- Basic computer literacy (POS/billing software)
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and peak retail hours
- Minimum qualification: 12th pass / Graduate (any stream)
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
