Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer – MEP with strong experience in real estate construction projects, particularly residential and commercial high-rise buildings. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, coordination, supervision, inspection, testing and commissioning of electrical works at project sites.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of HV, MV, LV, HT, LT electrical systems, electrical distribution, DG sets, transformers, panels, cable laying, earthing, lightning protection, electrical services and MEP coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and supervise electrical works for residential and commercial high-rise real estate projects.
- Coordinate electrical project activities with the Project MEP Head / MEP Manager, consultants, contractors and site teams.
- Review and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), shop drawings, layouts and specifications.
- Supervise installation of HV, MV, LV, HT and LT electrical systems.
- Coordinate installation and commissioning of transformers, HT/LT panels, RMU, VCB, PCC, MCC, DBs and electrical distribution systems.
- Supervise DG sets, AMF/ATS panels, bus ducts, cable trays, cable laying and electrical shafts.
- Monitor installation of power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, small power and electrical services.
- Ensure proper execution of earthing, lightning protection and electrical safety systems.
- Coordinate electrical services with HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, ELV and other MEP services to avoid site clashes.
- Review BOQ, material specifications, technical submittals and quantity requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and electrical subcontractors for timely execution of works.
- Monitor project progress, manpower deployment, material availability and work schedules.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure electrical works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications and project standards.
- Coordinate testing and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
- Ensure proper IR testing, continuity testing, earth resistance testing and electrical equipment testing.
- Verify installation quality and ensure compliance with applicable IS standards, electrical codes and project specifications.
- Coordinate inspections with consultants and maintain necessary inspection requests, checklists and quality records.
- Identify site issues, technical deviations and execution challenges and coordinate corrective actions.
- Maintain daily progress reports, inspection records, material records and project documentation.
- Coordinate with civil, architectural and other MEP teams for electrical sleeves, openings, shafts, embedded conduits and services.
- Monitor electrical works from rough-in stage through installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
- Ensure compliance with project HSE, quality and safety requirements.
- Assist in preparation of as-built drawings, testing reports, commissioning documents and handover documentation.

- Strong knowledge of real estate electrical engineering and MEP execution.
- Experience in residential high-rise and commercial building projects.
- Strong site execution and project coordination skills.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, SLDs and technical specifications.
- Good knowledge of electrical materials, equipment and installation practices.
- Strong contractor and subcontractor management skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple electrical activities simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and site management capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of electrical testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of applicable IS codes, electrical standards and safety requirements.
Education & Experience
- B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in Electrical / MEP execution.
- Candidates must have experience in real estate, construction, residential high-rise or commercial building projects.
- Experience with HV, MV, LV, HT, LT, DG, transformer, electrical panels, power distribution and MEP coordination will be preferred.

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
