Job Title: Software Testing Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Testing Engineer with 2-3 years of industry experience with a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the complete testing lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications across desktop, web, and mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand project requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Execute manual and/or automated test cases and analyze results
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing
- Conduct testing across multiple operating systems and browsers
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through to resolution
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to improve product quality
- Participate in all phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software releases
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC concepts
- Experience in test case design and execution
- Hands-on experience in regression testing and performance testing
- Familiarity with testing across different operating systems and web browsers
- Experience testing desktop applications, web applications, and mobile applications
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree (First Class) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with test automation tools (optional but advantageous)
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools and version control systems
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
