About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on, tech-savvy AI & Automation Engineer to help bridge technology and the broader business. This is not a narrow operations role — the position spans ecommerce, supply chain, inventory, and business development, giving the right candidate exposure across multiple parts of the company. This role will support the design, building, and maintenance of AI-driven tools and automations that improve efficiency across these areas. The ideal candidate is a hardworking, eager learner who is comfortable with basic coding and using AI tools, enjoys working across different parts of the business, and is excited to grow their skills while supporting the company — no prior supply chain or business development experience required.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the team in applying AI and automation to help improve workflows across ecommerce, supply chain, inventory, and business development.
- Write and maintain simple Python scripts and small tools/automations under guidance from senior team members.
- Use AI tools (e.g., LLM-based assistants, automation platforms) to help streamline day-to-day tasks and reporting across different business functions.
- Assist in monitoring existing AI/automation tools and flagging issues for troubleshooting.
- Contribute ideas for continuous improvement as you learn how ecommerce, supply chain, inventory, and business development processes work.
- Document processes and tools clearly so work is easy to follow and hand off.
- Learn from and collaborate with cross-functional teams (ecommerce, operations, business development) to understand how the business operates as a whole.
- Stay curious and keep learning new AI tools and coding practices relevant to different parts of the business.
Required Qualifications
- Junior level candidates with 2+ years relevant experience. Entry level candidates will be considered on case-case basis but must have an exceptional skillset
- Working knowledge of Python.
- Strong hands-on experience using AI tools and LLMs.
- Some familiarity with, or interest in, ecommerce platforms and how online businesses operate.
- Good problem-solving skills and a hardworking, eager-to-learn attitude.
- Good communication skills — able to explain simple technical concepts clearly.
- No prior experience in supply chain, inventory, or business development required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to any programming languages beyond Python (e.g., JavaScript, SQL).
- Experience with low-code/no-code automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Power Automate).
- Familiarity with ecommerce tools or platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon Seller Central).
- Genuine interest in learning about supply chain, inventory, and business development operations.
- Interest in taking on leadership or mentoring responsibilities as you grow in the role.
- Enthusiasm for driving continuous improvement ideas, even without a formal track record yet.
