Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead the execution of residential and commercial building projects. The candidate must have strong technical knowledge, excellent planning and execution skills, and the ability to study and interpret construction drawings accurately. The role requires ensuring quality, safety, timely completion, and cost control while coordinating with all project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities1. Project Execution
- Execute all civil works as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
- Supervise daily construction activities including excavation, foundations, RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, finishing, and external development works.
- Ensure work is completed within the planned timeline and budget.
- Monitor labour productivity and optimize resource utilization.
2. Drawing Study & Technical Coordination
- Thoroughly study and understand structural, architectural, MEP, and shop drawings before execution.
- Identify discrepancies in drawings and coordinate with consultants and architects for timely resolution.
- Ensure site execution strictly follows approved drawings and specifications.
- Conduct drawing review meetings with site engineers and supervisors before starting each activity.
3. Planning & Scheduling
- Prepare weekly and monthly execution plans.
- Develop micro-level activity schedules and monitor progress against milestones.
- Coordinate labour, materials, machinery, and subcontractors for uninterrupted work.
- Identify project delays and implement corrective actions.
4. Quality Control
- Ensure all work complies with project specifications, IS codes, and quality standards.
- Monitor reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, curing, and finishing works.
- Conduct inspections before each major activity.
- Maintain quality records, checklists, cube test reports, and inspection documentation.
5. Material Management
- Estimate material requirements based on approved drawings.
- Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
- Coordinate with procurement for timely delivery of materials.
- Verify contractor and supplier bills against executed quantities.
6. Contractor & Labour Management
- Supervise subcontractors and labour teams.
- Allocate work and monitor daily productivity.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and coordination meetings.
- Ensure manpower deployment meets project requirements.
7. Billing & Measurement
- Verify measurements and quantities executed at site.
- Review contractor running bills and reconcile material consumption.
- Maintain measurement books and progress records.
8. Safety Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and project safety procedures.
- Coordinate with the Safety Officer for implementation of safety measures.
- Promote safe working practices at all times.
9. Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Report project status, resource utilization, delays, and risks to Project Manager.
- Maintain proper documentation including DPRs, material records, site instructions, and inspection reports.
Required Technical Skills
- Excellent knowledge of RCC and building construction.
- Strong ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and MEP drawings.
- Expertise in planning and execution of residential and commercial projects.
- Knowledge of quantity estimation and BOQ.
- Good understanding of quality control procedures and IS Codes.
- Knowledge of billing, measurements, and project documentation.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
Software Skills
- AutoCAD
- Microsoft Excel (Advanced)
- Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6
- MS Word and PowerPoint
- Basic knowledge of project management software
Education
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
Experience
- Minimum 8–12 years in execution of residential and commercial building projects.
- Experience handling multi-storey RCC structures is preferred.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
