Job Summary
PMS Innovation Solutions is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Manager – Event Management to drive business growth, generate new client opportunities, and manage end-to-end sales for corporate events, brand activations, exhibitions, conferences, promotional campaigns, and experiential marketing projects.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, client-handling experience, business development capabilities, and a passion for the event and marketing industry.
Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in corporate events, exhibitions, activations, BTL marketing, and branding solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and decision-makers.
- Conduct market research to identify new industries, clients, and sales opportunities.
- Create and execute strategic sales plans to achieve monthly and yearly targets.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, online platforms, and client meetings.
Client Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Understand client requirements and propose customized event and marketing solutions.
- Attend client meetings, presentations, and briefing sessions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and communication.
- Handle client queries, negotiations, and follow-ups professionally.
Event Sales & Pitching
- Present company services including:
- Corporate Events
- Brand Activations
- Mall Activations
- Product Launches
- Roadshows
- Exhibitions & Trade Shows
- Conferences & Seminars
- Digital & Integrated Marketing Campaigns
- Prepare attractive sales presentations, proposals, and pitch decks.
- Coordinate with creative, operations, and production teams for proposal execution.
- Convert inquiries into confirmed business deals.
Revenue & Target Management
- Achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Maintain sales pipeline and business forecasting reports.
- Track conversions, revenue generation, and client acquisition performance.
- Negotiate pricing and close profitable deals.
- Ensure timely payment collection and invoice coordination with accounts teams.
Coordination & Execution Support
- Coordinate internally with operations, creative, production, and vendor teams.
- Ensure smooth communication between clients and project execution teams.
- Support event planning and execution whenever required.
- Monitor project timelines and client deliverables.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain updated client database and CRM records.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports.
- Submit market feedback, competitor analysis, and business insights to management.
- Keep records of proposals, contracts, and client communications.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Excellent presentation and client management abilities.
- Good understanding of event management and brand marketing industry.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Event Management, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in event management sales, brand marketing, advertising, or business development.
- Experience in corporate sales or BTL/event industry preferred.
- Candidates with existing corporate client networks will have an added advantage.
