Key Responsibilities
- Research market trends, customer requirements, and competitor products to identify new product opportunities.
- Support the development of new products based on business and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for samples, prototypes, quotations, and product specifications.
- Prepare and maintain product development documents, specifications, BOMs, and costing details.
- Follow up on samples, prototypes, testing, approvals, and modifications.
- Work closely with the Purchase, Production, Quality, Design, Sales, and Marketing teams.
- Evaluate product samples for quality, functionality, appearance, and compliance with specifications.
- Coordinate product testing and ensure required quality and safety standards are met.
- Analyze product costs and work with suppliers to achieve target costs.
- Maintain product development schedules and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Identify product issues during development and coordinate corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of suppliers, samples, specifications, test reports, and approvals.
- Assist in supplier identification and evaluation for new product requirements.
- Support product improvement and cost-reduction initiatives for existing products.
- Prepare regular reports on product development status and project progress.
- Ensure all products are developed in accordance with company standards and applicable regulations.
Required Skills
- Strong product development and project coordination skills.
- Good understanding of sourcing, purchasing, manufacturing, and quality processes.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of ERP systems is an added advantage.
- Ability to work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Product Design, Commerce, or a related field.
- Additional certification in product development, procurement, supply chain, or project management is an advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in product development, sourcing, procurement, merchandising, R&D, or a related field.
- Experience working with suppliers and manufacturers will be preferred.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
