Experience: 2–5 Years
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- Experience in servicing medical or dental imaging equipment is preferred.
Job Summary
The Radiology Engineer will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and technical support of dental radiology equipment. The role requires extensive field travel and close coordination with customers and internal teams to ensure timely service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation & Commissioning
- Install and commission dental radiology equipment at customer locations.
- Configure and calibrate equipment for optimal performance.
- Conduct functional testing and customer handover.
Preventive Maintenance
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance visits.
- Ensure equipment is functioning efficiently and safely.
- Maintain preventive maintenance records.
Breakdown & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and electrical issues.
- Attend service calls within defined response timelines.
- Escalate complex technical issues when required.
Customer Support
- Provide on-site and remote technical assistance.
- Train customers on equipment operation and basic maintenance.
- Ensure prompt resolution of customer complaints.
Documentation
- Update the service application/CRM after every visit.
- Submit service reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Coordinate with the spare parts team for replacement requirements.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of electronics and biomedical equipment.
- Installation and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of dental radiology equipment (RVG, Intraoral X-ray, OPG, CBCT) is preferred.
- Good communication and customer handling skills.
- Basic computer and networking knowledge.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
