WE ARE HIRING – Sous Chef (Pan Asian)
Location: Thane, Mumbai
Salary: Up to ₹60,000/month (Based on Experience & Interview)
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef – Pan Asian to assist the Executive Chef in leading kitchen operations and delivering authentic, high-quality Pan Asian cuisine. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent knowledge of Asian cooking techniques, and the ability to maintain consistency in a fast-paced kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and supervise authentic Pan Asian dishes, including Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Korean, and other Asian cuisines.
- Lead daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff.
- Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Manage kitchen inventory, stock ordering, and food cost control.
- Ensure proper food storage and minimize wastage.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and seasonal specials.
- Coordinate with the Executive Chef to improve kitchen efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in Pan Asian cuisine.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP.
- Strong knowledge of wok cooking, dim sum, sushi basics, ramen, noodles, curries, stir-fries, and Asian sauces.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume restaurant.
- Good understanding of food costing and inventory management.
- Professional attitude with excellent communication skills.
