Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in the Plastic Injection Moulding industry. The candidate will be responsible for preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of Injection Moulding Machines, Moulds, and Auxiliary Equipment to ensure maximum machine uptime, production efficiency, and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of Injection Moulding Machines.
- Carry out troubleshooting, repair, and overhauling of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and servo systems.
- Perform maintenance, repair, servicing, alignment, and troubleshooting of injection moulds.
- Diagnose mould-related issues such as flash, short shot, sticking, mismatch, cooling problems, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate mould installation, mould changeovers, and machine setup support.
- Ensure maximum machine availability with minimum production downtime.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of machine and mould failures and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend reliability improvements.
- Maintain maintenance records, machine history, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Manage spare parts inventory for machines and moulds.
- Coordinate with Production, Tool Room, Quality, and Process teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in installation and commissioning of new machines, moulds, and auxiliary equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company maintenance standards.
- Participate in TPM, 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Plastic Injection Moulding Manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience in maintenance and repair of Injection Moulding Machines and Moulds is mandatory.
Required Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance of Injection Moulding Machines and Moulds.
- Experience with Injection Moulding Machines such as Haitian, Engel, JSW, Toshiba, Nissei, Milacron, KraussMaffei, Sumitomo, or equivalent.

Mandatory Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a Plastic Injection Moulding Manufacturing Company.
- Hands-on experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhauling of Injection Moulding Machines is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience in maintenance, servicing, alignment, troubleshooting, and repair of Injection Moulds is mandatory.
- Ability to independently handle machine breakdowns and mould-related issues.
- Candidates from Plastic Injection Moulding Manufacturing Industry will be given preference.
