Your work profile
We are seeking an experienced Manager – Infrastructure & Platform Engineering to lead the design, implementation, optimization, and governance of enterprise infrastructure platforms supporting mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in Linux administration (Ubuntu/RHEL), storage and file systems, NFS architecture, networking, high availability, platform performance optimization, and enterprise infrastructure operations.
The role requires strong hands-on technical expertise combined with leadership capabilities to drive infrastructure modernization, platform reliability, scalability, and operational excellence across large-scale enterprise environments.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 12–15+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering and platform operations.
- Deep expertise in Linux administration, NFS, storage systems, and networking.
- Proven experience designing and managing highly available enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across operating systems, storage, network, and platform layers.
- Experience leading infrastructure transformation and modernization initiatives.
- Ability to manage teams, engage with senior stakeholders, and drive strategic infrastructure programs.
Infrastructure Architecture & Platform Engineering
- Define enterprise infrastructure standards, architecture principles, and operational best practices.
- Design scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure solutions supporting business-critical applications.
- Lead infrastructure capacity planning, performance optimization, and reliability initiatives.
- Develop infrastructure roadmaps aligned with organizational growth and modernization objectives.
- Conduct architecture reviews and ensure adherence to enterprise standards.
Linux Administration & Platform Management
- Architect and manage large-scale Linux environments, primarily Ubuntu and RHEL/CentOS.
- Establish operating system hardening, patch management, and security compliance frameworks.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting of operating system, kernel, memory, CPU, storage, and networking issues.
- Optimize Linux systems for performance, stability, and high availability.
- Manage system upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management activities.
Storage, NFS & File System Management
- Design and manage enterprise-grade NFS architectures.
- Implement and optimize shared storage environments for high-performance applications.
- Manage SAN, NAS, and distributed storage solutions.
- Develop storage capacity planning and optimization strategies.
- Troubleshoot storage performance bottlenecks and file system-related issues.
- Define backup, recovery, and data protection mechanisms.
Network Infrastructure & Performance
- Design and manage enterprise network infrastructure.
- Configure and troubleshoot: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Routing and Switching VLANs, Load Balancers, Firewalls, VPNs
- Lead network performance tuning and optimization initiatives.
- Ensure network resiliency, redundancy, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement network security controls.
High Availability & Disaster Recovery
- Design highly available infrastructure architectures.
- Define and implement disaster recovery strategies.
- Conduct failover testing and business continuity exercises.
- Establish infrastructure resilience and fault-tolerance frameworks.
- Ensure adherence to SLA and uptime requirements.
Monitoring, Observability & Automation
- Implement enterprise monitoring and observability platforms.
- Define infrastructure health metrics, dashboards, and alerting mechanisms.
- Drive automation initiatives using scripting and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Reduce operational effort through proactive monitoring and self-healing mechanisms.
- Establish operational runbooks and standard operating procedures.
Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure (Preferred)
- Support cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Evaluate infrastructure modernization opportunities involving AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Assist in migration of workloads from on-premises environments to cloud platforms.
- Ensure seamless integration between cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead teams of infrastructure engineers, system administrators, and network engineers.
- Manage delivery of infrastructure transformation initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
- Collaborate with application, database, security, and business teams.
- Support solutioning, architecture reviews, and client advisory engagements.
Linux & Operating Systems
- Expert-level experience administering: Ubuntu Linux, RHEL/CentOS,
- Strong understanding of: Linux Kernel, System Performance Tuning

Storage & File Systems
- Strong experience with: NFS Administration, NAS/SAN Technologies

- Experience with: Shell Scripting, Python, Ansible, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Automation of provisioning, patching, monitoring, and operational tasks.
Monitoring & Observability
- Experience with tools such as: Grafana,Prometheus, ELK Stack, Zabbix, Nagios, Dynatrace
- Infrastructure health monitoring and root cause analysis.
Containerization & Platform Technologies (Preferred)
- Docker

Key skills required
- Education: Any bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience managing enterprise infrastructure environments supporting 24x7 mission-critical operations.
- Experience supporting large-scale SaaS or utility platforms.
- Exposure to cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with security hardening and compliance frameworks.
- Experience managing multi-site infrastructure deployments.
