About the Role
Cindrebay School of Design is looking for a responsible and execution-oriented Manager – Infrastructure & Facilities to take care of all matters related to premises, infrastructure, fixed assets, rentals, interiors, construction, vendors, maintenance, and facilities management across our existing and upcoming centres in India.
The person will be responsible for identifying suitable premises for new branches, coordinating rental and lease negotiations, managing interior and construction works, maintaining existing facilities, handling vendors, and ensuring that every Cindrebay centre is properly set up, well maintained, cost-effective, and ready for smooth academic and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify suitable premises for new Cindrebay centres in different cities.
- Coordinate with landlords, brokers, property consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Support management in rental negotiations, lease terms, deposits, lock-in periods, renewals, and documentation.
- Manage interior, civil, electrical, furniture, signage, networking, air-conditioning, and other branch setup works.
- Ensure new centres are completed within approved budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
- Oversee day-to-day maintenance of existing centres, including repairs, cleanliness, safety, utilities, and general facilities.
- Maintain proper records of fixed assets, furniture, equipment, infrastructure, and branch-level facilities.
- Coordinate asset movement, repair, replacement, verification, and disposal.
- Identify, negotiate with, and manage vendors for construction, interiors, repairs, housekeeping, security, maintenance, furniture, signage, and other services.
- Obtain quotations, compare costs, negotiate rates, and ensure value for money.
- Monitor lease renewal dates, rent revision dates, maintenance contracts, and vendor agreements.
- Conduct regular visits to Cindrebay centres and submit facility status reports to the management.
- Work closely with branch heads, accounts, administration, IT, academics, and operations teams to ensure smooth functioning of each centre.
- Ensure that all Cindrebay premises are clean, functional, safe, presentable, and aligned with the brand’s standards.
Required Candidate Profile
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Candidates with experience in facilities management, infrastructure management, administration, civil works, interiors, real estate coordination, or project coordination will be preferred.
- 7 to 15 years of relevant experience preferred. (Minimum age 28 years)
- Experience in education institutions, retail chains, training centres, co-working spaces, hospitals, hospitality, or other multi-branch organisations will be an added advantage.
- Should have practical knowledge of rentals, lease coordination, vendor management, maintenance, interiors, and branch setup works.
- Should be willing to travel to different Cindrebay locations and upcoming branch locations.
- Strong negotiation, coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
- Should be hands-on, reliable, cost-conscious, and capable of getting things done independently.
- Good communication skills in English and Malayalam. Knowledge of Hindi or other regional languages will be an added advantage.
- Preferably below 40 years of age.
