Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct engaging music classes for students across different grade levels
- Teach vocal and/or instrumental music with creativity and enthusiasm
- Develop students’ interest, confidence, and appreciation for music
- Prepare students for school assemblies, annual day events, competitions, and cultural activities
- Introduce students to rhythm, melody, music theory, and performance techniques
- Encourage participation in extracurricular music activities and performances
- Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment
- Collaborate with school staff for event planning and student development activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma / Certification in Music or Performing Arts
- Prior teaching experience in schools or music institutions is preferred
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to teach vocal music and basic instrumental music will be an added advantage
- Passion for working with children and encouraging creativity
