Legal Operations Coordinator – Cyber Cases
Miraaj Associates is looking for a disciplined, organized, and responsible Legal Operations Coordinator to manage the workflow of cybercrime matters, banking freeze/unfreeze cases, financial crime matters, and related legal operations within the office.
This role is not limited to clerical work. The selected candidate will coordinate with clients, advocates, staff members, maintain documents and case records, conduct follow-ups, and manage internal case management systems to ensure that all matters progress efficiently and that no case remains pending without clear ownership and accountability.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a daily list of important cases requiring senior review, court action, travel, client discussions, police or bank escalation, or urgent decision-making.
- Prepare concise case briefs for important matters before they are presented for senior review.
- Track cyber freeze/unfreeze matters at every stage, from case intake to final closure.
- Ensure that every case has an updated stage, next action item, responsible person, deadline, and current status.
- Coordinate with clients for pending documents, including bank statements, KYC documents, notices, complaint copies, transaction details, and authorization documents.
- Coordinate with advocates and staff regarding drafting, annexures, filing preparation, dispatch, follow-ups, and closure procedures.
- Maintain and regularly update the Case Management System (CMS).
- Track Investigating Officer (IO) follow-ups, bank follow-ups, defreeze/NOC requests, court filing status, and client communications.
- Maintain a client update tracker to ensure clients receive timely and accurate status updates.
- Prepare a daily pending report highlighting urgent cases, stalled matters, pending documents, pending drafts, due follow-ups, and cases requiring senior attention.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all client, legal, banking, police, financial, and internal office information.
Authority Limits
The Legal Operations Coordinator shall not:
- Provide legal opinions or legal advice.
- Promise case outcomes or results.
- Negotiate legal fees.
- Approve final drafts or legal documents.
- Make legal commitments to clients.
- Independently communicate legal strategy.
All legal decisions and strategic advice shall remain the responsibility of the concerned advocate or senior professional.
Required Skills
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential legal and financial documents.
- Basic understanding of legal office workflows and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, email communication, WhatsApp coordination, document management systems, and case management software.
- Ability to prioritize urgent and time-sensitive matters.
- Ability to work effectively with advocates, clients, staff members, banks, police authorities, and external offices.
Preferred Background
- Experience in legal office coordination, banking documentation, compliance, recovery matters, litigation support, police/court coordination, or operations management.
- A law degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- More important than a legal qualification are discipline, confidentiality, follow-up capability, attention to detail, and strong case-tracking skills.

- Cases requiring senior attention.
Success Criteria
- No case remains without a clearly defined next action.
- No urgent matter is overlooked.
- No client follow-up is missed.
- No file reaches senior review without adequate preparation.
- No regular cyber case remains pending without a valid reason.
- The Case Management System (CMS) is updated daily and accurately.
Work Location & Travel
- Work Location: Netaji Subhash Place, Delhi
- Travel within Delhi/NCR and occasionally outside Delhi may be required.
- Official travel expenses will be borne by the firm.
Working Hours
- Office Timings: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Weekly Off: Sunday
- Additional working hours may be required during urgent legal matters.
Salary
₹15,000 – ₹35,000 per month
Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and overall suitability for the role.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
