Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused, and result-oriented Field Sales Executive to drive business growth by acquiring new customers and managing existing client relationships. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling commercial kitchen equipment and FMCG products, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit hotels, restaurants, cafés, bakeries, cloud kitchens, caterers, supermarkets, retail stores, distributors, wholesalers, and other prospective customers.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through field visits, referrals, cold calling, and networking.
- Promote and sell commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, refrigeration systems, cooking ranges, food preparation equipment, storage solutions, dishwashing systems, and related products.
- Promote FMCG products to distributors, retailers, wholesalers, and institutional buyers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and customized solutions.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and successfully close sales.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and customer meetings.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with customers to generate repeat business.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Coordinate with procurement, operations, logistics, and installation teams for timely order execution.
- Ensure smooth delivery, installation, and after-sales customer support.
- Maintain accurate records of customer visits, sales pipeline, quotations, orders, collections, and follow-ups.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve customer concerns promptly.
- Submit daily sales reports, visit reports, and territory updates to management.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Hospitality, or a related discipline (preferred).
- 1–4 years of experience in field sales, B2B sales, hospitality products, commercial kitchen equipment, FMCG, or industrial products.
- Fresh graduates with strong communication and sales aptitude may also apply.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong customer service and consultative selling approach.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and achieve targets.
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territories.
- Basic computer proficiency in MS Office, Excel, email, and CRM/sales reporting tools.
- Valid two-wheeler/four-wheeler driving license will be an added advantage.
