We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Analyst with experience in EdTech products to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and the development team. The ideal candidate should understand educational workflows, gather business requirements, prepare functional documents, and ensure successful product delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements from clients and stakeholders.
- Understand EdTech business processes such as Student Management, Course Management, Learning Management System (LMS), Assessments, Attendance, Fee Management, and Certifications.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), User Stories, and Use Cases.
- Work closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, Developers, and QA teams.
- Create process flows, wireframes, and functional specifications.
- Conduct requirement workshops and stakeholder meetings.
- Define acceptance criteria and validate delivered features.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate bug tracking.
- Analyze product performance and recommend improvements.
- Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Experience in EdTech products or Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Excellent requirement gathering and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of BRD, FRD, User Stories, and UML diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Basic SQL for data analysis and validation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with LMS platforms such as Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, or custom EdTech solutions.
- Knowledge of Student Information Systems (SIS).
- Understanding of API integrations and third-party educational platforms.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled learning platforms is an added advantage.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA or Business Analysis certification is an added advantage.
